The .SU extension dates from the Soviet era, but its registration rules include today's identity checks. Since September 1, 2026, ESIA verification applies to registered administrators of .SU, .RU and .РФ domains. Registration and renewal both fall within that requirement.
Your xUID account is the account you use to buy and manage the service. The supplied registration identity is the identity used for the domain. Registry checks concern that registered administrator; xUID doesn't ask you to complete ESIA for your order.
Base includes a shared identity in the $75 registration price. Your personal details stay out of the domain registration, while other registrations share the same identity.
Private Identity adds $750 for a registration identity dedicated to your account. That makes the initial .SU order $825. Both options let you order without uploading your identity documents. The extra fee changes the registration identity assigned to your service.
You can connect a .SU domain to an existing website or use it with a new hosting service. Enter your provider's nameservers when ordering, then manage them through your account once the domain is active.
If you're registering several names, add them to the same order and select protection individually. A shared Base identity or a dedicated Private Identity doesn't require you to buy hosting with the domain.
For abuse-complaint handling, choose Full Bulletproof Protection before registration. It adds $8,000 and includes an exclusive identity plus high-priority support. We handle abuse complaints, and your domain stays online within your service agreement.
Only one protection fee applies. A Bulletproof order doesn't also include the $750 Private Identity fee. Base and Private Identity don't include the Bulletproof complaint-handling service.
The billing panel shows the domain price, your chosen protection fee and renewal pricing separately. Pay with a supported cryptocurrency or your wallet balance after checking the order. Some registrations need manual processing. Once your domain is active, use the same account to manage it and arrange renewals; keep track of its expiry date there.
You don’t complete ESIA verification or upload ID documents to xUID. Your domain uses the registration identity included with your plan.
Need protection against abuse complaints? Full Bulletproof Protection includes an exclusive identity and priority support. Choose your protection before registration. All prices are in USD.
No. The requirement covers the registered administrator of a .SU domain. xUID supplies the registration identity for your plan, so you don't complete the verification yourself as a customer.
No. Base registration also lets you order without uploading your identity documents. Private Identity replaces the shared registration identity with one dedicated to your account.
Yes. You can order both extensions together, choose protection for each name and manage the domains in your xUID account.
