The .SU ending gives a name a Soviet-era association. Choose it because that identity fits the website you want to build. An independent publication might use its title; a project owner might keep a separate address for work that doesn't belong under their main brand.
Your domain purchase doesn't need your personal biography. xUID signup asks for an email and password, with no buyer name, home address, phone number or ID documents. You manage the domain through that account after registration.
Base registration uses a shared identity instead of your own details. That arrangement lets you buy anonymously while the registration still has an identity behind it.

Private Identity adds a registration identity dedicated to your account for $750 on top of the $75 registration charge. Full Bulletproof Protection is a separate $8,000 option with an exclusive identity, high-priority support and abuse-complaint handling.
Only Bulletproof includes protection against abuse complaints. Your protected domain stays online within the service agreement. A .SU address by itself doesn't give the domain that protection, so select the service your project needs before registration. Base registrations can't be upgraded later.
You pay the registration charge plus one fee for your chosen add-on. Private Identity and Full Bulletproof are alternative choices, so their add-on fees aren't stacked. Renewal prices appear separately in the billing panel.
Hosting also has its own price and agreement. Keep your current host if it suits the project, then connect the active .SU domain using that provider's nameservers. For a new website, choose hosting according to the software you plan to run. The domain order doesn't include website storage or a VPS.
